Deloitte’s UKG practice is the largest in Australia and continues to grow rapidly. Our team brings together specialists who design and deliver workforce technology solutions that help organisations better manage, schedule and support their people.

You’ll work across the full UKG ecosystem, supported by specialists in timekeeping, advanced scheduling, forecasting, analytics, reporting and integrations.

What will your typical day look like?

The role is responsible for leading end-to-end UKG Pro WFM net new implementation and migration projects, managing delivery across scope, schedule, budget, resourcing, governance, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and deployment readiness.

This is a highly client-facing and hands-on delivery role, accountable for driving project momentum, coordinating multi-disciplinary project resources, managing cross-functional dependencies, resolving delivery challenges, and ensuring teams remain aligned to agreed timelines, quality outcomes, and commercial objectives across all phases of the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities include maintaining integrated project plans, managing RAID items, overseeing financial tracking and forecasting, coordinating consultant allocations and delivery activities, facilitating governance forums, and providing clear executive-level reporting and stakeholder communication.
- In addition to project delivery, the role contributes to the ongoing uplift of the UKG practice through coaching and mentoring team members, supporting delivery standardisation, and developing repeatable implementation approaches and assets.

Enough about us, let's talk about you
You will be someone with a genuine interest in both the human and technical side of HR, payroll and workforce management technology. While you’ll certainly have deep expertise in HR Project Management, you’ll need to bring an energy for consulting in a client-facing environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the HR/payroll software implementation space.
- Experience as a Project Manager of UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) module is highly desirable.
- Experience delivering UKG Pro WFM implementations, workforce management solutions, or broader HCM transformation programs is highly regarded
- Exposure to platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, ECP, Workday, Dayforce, or similar enterprise HR and payroll solutions will also be beneficial.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy and quality in project deliverables.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Relevant certifications such as PRINCE2 or PMP are advantageous.
- Tertiary level qualifications in Business, HR, IT or related areas are advantageous.
