Join our Western Sydney team as a Senior Treasury Analyst and bring your expertise to a role spanning treasury operations, systems, reporting and controls in a business growing in scale and complexity.

 

What will your typical day look like?

 

From cash forecasting, liquidity monitoring to intercompany funding,banking administration and management and board reporting, this role gives you hands-on ownership across core treasury operations. You'll also support foreign exchange and interest rate risk activities, helping execute treasury priorities in line with approved policies, delegations and control requirements.

 

A big part of your impact will come through accurate reporting and accounting. That includes preparing treasury reports for management, regional and board audiences, maintaining reconciliations, and supporting IFRS 9 requirements through hedge documentation, effectiveness testing and accounting entries for derivative instruments.

 

Working closely with Finance, Partner Services, IT, Legal and the broader business, you'll help improve the way treasury runs day to day. The pace is varied, with a mix of operational delivery, systems administration, analysis and process improvement, including support for Treasury Management System enhancements and integration with SAP and banking platforms.

 

About the team

 

You'll be joining a collaborative treasury team that plays an important role in supporting Deloitte Australia's financial operations, governance and decision-making. As the business grows in scale and complexity, the team is expanding its focus across liquidity, risk management, systems, reporting and controls - giving you the chance to work across the full breadth of treasury activity while partnering with experienced leaders and stakeholders across the firm.

 

Enough about us, let's talk about you

 

You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences:

  • Experience in corporate treasury, financial services or a related finance environment, with exposure to treasury operations, systems and financial instruments accounting
  • Strong technical knowledge of treasury accounting requirements, including IFRS 9 and hedge accounting
  • Confidence managing cash forecasting, liquidity reporting, banking platforms, intercompany funding or related treasury activity
  • Advanced Excel skills, strong analytical capability and the ability to work through detail without losing sight of the bigger picture
  • Experience using Treasury Management Systems and ERP platforms such as SAP
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work across Finance, IT, Legal and other business teams
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with an eye for strengthening processes, controls and reporting
  • CA, CPA or a related qualification would be highly regarded
