Join our National Finance team in Western Sydney and play a key role in managing payroll processes while enjoying great career development and support. This is a great opportunity to join a large team, and we offer excellent hybrid working arrangements. This is a permanent position in our team.

 

What will your typical day look like? 
As part of the National Finance team located in Western Sydney, you will form part of the group who is responsible for all payroll processes, employee payments, compliance, and third party / vendor payments. 
In this key role you will be responsible for employee transactional payroll and payroll processes across the business ensuring that employees are paid accurately and in a timely manner. You will work with stakeholders to ensure queries are managed in line with the Deloitte Payroll Service Level Agreement.


About the team 
Meet the National Finance team - a multidisciplinary team of accounting and technical experts that essentially keep the company running. From treasury support to payroll services, the National Finance team provides support for firm-wide administrative and accounting functions.

You are someone with: 

  • Minimum 3 years Payroll experience in end to end Payroll processing, payroll reconciliations, reporting and query management in a high-volume environment
  • High attention to detail and level of accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Payroll processing > 1200 employees per month 
  • Excellent data entry skills with strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy 
  • Proven ability to meet timelines
  • Intermediate Excel skills and strong computer skills 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Customer Service Focus
