We are seeking a talented Experienced Analyst to join our External Audit team in our Paramatta office. This is a permanent role that will support you in growing your career, working across a number of exciting client projects and an opportunity to be part of a market-leading team.

What will your typical day look like?
On a typical day in this role, you'll engage directly with clients and team members, contributing to audit or assurance engagements from planning through to completion. Expect to collaborate closely with colleagues to analyse financial data, review supporting documentation, and discuss findings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards. You'll participate in meetings to clarify client requirements, share progress updates, and address technical queries. Hands-on work is central, as you perform substantive testing, evaluate controls, and draft clear, actionable reports. Throughout the day, you'll receive guidance from senior team members, allowing you to further develop your technical skills and professional judgement. You’ll have regular opportunities to learn from feedback, contribute ideas, and support others, fostering a collaborative environment focused on growth and high-quality outcomes.
About the team
In the Global and Private Audit team, you will get the exposure to a diverse range of clients and work with some of the largest and best-known global companies, Private and ASX listed companies across a wide range of industries.
Industry segments include:
- Consumer: Retail, wholesale, travel and hospitality
- Real Estate: REITS, Developers and Fund Managers
- TMT: Technology, media and telecommunications
- Healthcare and life sciences: Hospital owners and healthcare services
- Private Equity
Working with our global teams you will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of controls, SOX related activities and overseeing group audits across our member network.
You will have the opportunity to work with our Technical Accounting and Audit Quality teams as well as specialists in services areas such as Technology and Internal Controls, Tax & Legal, Risk Advisory and Consulting. Beyond this, you will have the opportunity to explore both overseas and internal transfers that broaden and amplify your professional development within the world’s largest professional services firm.
You are someone with:
- CA qualifications (or equivalent) with professional services experience
- Over 2 years of experience in external audit (preferably from a Big 4 or a mid-tier accounting firm)
- Proficient in identifying business and financial risks, planning audits, and managing engagements as the lead auditor
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate and complete audit findings
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to handle multiple audits and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain and develop client relationships
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- High level of integrity and ethical standards in managing sensitive financial information
