About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Workday HCM Solution Architect with experience on HR transformation and Workday implementations, to join our Consulting team in Southeast Asia. 

As a Workday HCM Solution Architect, you will have the opportunity to enable clients in understanding and successfully transitioning to Workday HCM, while mentoring and coaching team members. 

You will be an influencer and thought leader with in-depth expertise and domain knowledge to establish yourself as a subject-matter expert, responsible for leading and delivering Workday engagements across projects. 


What will your typical day look like?

As a Solution Architect within our HCM team, you’ll tailor customer experience & HR solutions to the business requirements and needs of our clients. You’ll serve as the subject matter expert and overall solution design owner as it relates to end-to-end customer experience & HR solutions from data management, advanced decision making, to down-stream orchestration. The role requires a client-forward focus and will be asked to contribute in proposals, client-facing requirements gathering, and enabling the delivery teams for success.

  • Work within an engagement team and function as integrators between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients’ business needs.
  • Identify business requirements, requirements management, functional design, prototyping, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), testing, training, defining support procedures and supporting implementations.
  • Serve as the Solution Architect and subject matter expert for customer experience & HR data solutions during Request for Proposal (RFP), Discovery, and Build projects.
  • Complete solution estimation, estimation and staffing plans for prospected opportunities
  • Interface with client’s technical and business teams to gather business requirements to define technical architecture for customer experience & HR data solutions.
  • Involve other domain specific SME’s to support solution design.
  • Engage in technical resource planning and level-of-effort estimation to support project scoping, pricing, and planning.
  • Propose designed solutions to client technical and business teams.
  • Providing technical oversight of technical team members.
  • Identify solution risk areas during delivery and provide implementation recommendations
  • Identify opportunities to minimise the cost to serve while balancing deliverability and quality

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
You are someone with:


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business / Commerce, Finance, Technology or a quantitative field (e.g.  Engineering, Maths, Science, Statistics)
  • CPA or CA are a plus
  • Workday HCM certification (preferred) or other leading Cloud based SaaS HCM certification
  • 6 - 8 years of HR Consulting experience in managing HR Transformation initiatives and architecting Cloud deployments for HR solutions, processes and practices
  • Experience in solution architect roles, specifically for HR in ERP implementations
  • Establish Business advisor relationship with client Leadership and senior Executives, to consistently deliver quality client services
  • Experience in analysing business and functional requirements, and act as an architect to develop the HR Transformation and Technology adoption roadmap
  • Workday Functional Certification in Core HR and at minimum one of the additional modules; Absence, Recruitment, Learning, Time Tracking, Talent & Performance or Workday Project Management
  • Minimum experience of 4-6 Workday HCM full lifecycle implementations, from Design through to Deploy
  • Demonstrated experience in providing Workday solutions to complex business problems
  • Ability to manage communications with key stakeholders and guide a client through decision making
  • Encourage and facilitate collaboration amongst team members, and act as a mentor to coach team members
  • Cultivate and manage business development opportunities. An appreciation of the consulting lifestyle and ability to travel if needed
