We are seeking a highly capable Coordinator to join our WHS team, providing specialist support across our Workplace Health and Safety environment. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and strengthening our WHS Management System, assisting with compliance in line with legislation and internal policies and promoting a culture of safety and wellbeing throughout Deloitte.
What will your typical day look like?
This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in safeguarding WHS compliance, supporting employee wellbeing and contributing to the management of safety risk across the Deloitte. You will work closely with WHS professionals, and influence policy and process improvements. You will be required to:
- Liaise with internal talent stakeholders to ensure WHS matters are documented promptly and accurately in relevant systems.
- Collate and monitor internal records such as WHS incident logs and workers compensation claims documentation.
- Participate in WHS Compliance Audits in line with policies and legislation.
- Assist in the management of National WHS Committees and associated administrative support.
- Assist with the management and administrative aspects of Workers Compensation and Return to Work matters.
- Assist with preparation and co presenting of internal training to Talent
- Oversee HR Policy manual reviews, coordinating updates and securing approvals.
- Arrange external WHS related training for employees.
- Provide general administrative support including invoicing and ad hoc project work.
- Contribute to internal risk assessment evaluation.

Recently qualified or looking to take the next steps in your WHS career, you will bring knowledge and understanding of basic WHS and risk management principals and compliance requirements. You will have strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential. You will demonstrate:
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to engage effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Proactive learning and problem-solving approach, with capacity to work autonomously.
- High levels of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel functions.
