Our Vacationer Program is a paid summer internship for 6 weeks offering real client exposure, project work, and structured onboarding. You’ll have a dedicated buddy, access to networking and social events, and the opportunity to be considered for an early Graduate offer.

About the team
In the Assurance Sustainability & Climate (S&C) team, we engage with our clients to proactively manage their sustainability strategy, carbon and energy footprint, address issues like climate change and environmental compliance to reduce their impact on our planet and ensure the long term sustainability of businesses. We help our clients face challenges from corporate governance, risk management, economic, social and environmental aspects giving organisations the tools and insights to build a resilient and differentiated brand and customer experience.
Our practice’s experience and expertise spans ESG strategy, impact measurement, climate change reporting and social sustainability across a range local and global standards and frameworks supporting complex and diverse reporting and advisory client engagements.
You will be part of a leading practice working with the best clients and with the guarantee of no two days being the same.
What will your typical day look like?
Every day you’ll build your skills and knowledge through practical, hands-on experience. You’ll work alongside professionals who are experts in their field, contribute to real client projects, and build your capability through feedback and support.
As a Vacationer in the S&C team, you’ll:
- Collaborate with our clients and multidisciplinary teams to support the development and implementation of sustainability and ESG strategies, ensuring alignment with global standards
- Contribute to climate risk assessments, impact measurement, and data analysis to inform decision-making and demonstrate progress against sustainability targets
- Assist in preparing sustainability and ESG reports by interpreting complex reporting standards and frameworks, facilitating clear and accurate stakeholder communication
You won’t be expected to know everything from day one. You’ll be supported through structured learning, feedback and collaboration.

We’re seeking penultimate-year students to join our Vacationer program. You may have all or some of the following:
- Curiosity and a genuine interest in learning
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset with enviable stakeholder engagement skills
- Keen interest in Climate, Sustainability, ESG advisory and reporting
- Confidence to ask questions and learn through feedback
- Alignment with Deloitte’s values and inclusive culture
- You’ll be studying towards a relevant degree in Environmental Science, Climate & Sustainability, Environmental Engineering or Biodiversity preferably in combination with Accounting/ Finance
