About our Team


The Financial Advisory Assets team is a new internal consulting team responsible for driving exciting product development across Deloitte’s Financial Advisory (FA) business. The initiatives delivered by the team are critical in helping our clients solve their most pressing problems, from climate change to financial crime. 


What will your typical day look like?


You will work with creative, dynamic, senior stakeholders, as part of a new team to drive the design and development of FA’s varied asset portfolio. Supported by the Assets Lead, Service Area Business Partners, and the FA Executive, you will engage stakeholders at all levels of Financial Advisory to facilitate new product design and development.


You’ll be involved with all aspects of driving innovation and product development – including understanding business strategy, facilitating the generation of new ideas, shaping business requirements, understanding technology selection, as well as stakeholder management and marketing. It’s a role that you can make your own and shape to deliver top business priority outcomes.


Core functions and immediate responsibilities will include:

  • Support the end-to end design and development of solutions as required across ideation, requirements gathering, marketing and ongoing product iteration
  • Own the design and delivery of low-code automation opportunities across the business, leveraging platforms such as UI Path (RPA) and Neota Logic
  • Design and draft business communications and deliver training and presentations on new solutions where needed
  • Work collaboratively and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive outcomes, managing expectations and timeframes
  • Administrate, co-design and co-facilitate product design workshops
  • Deliver asset reporting to the FA executive and firm 
  • Execute high quality deliverables as part of supporting delivery of the assets portfolio
  • Develop client advocates through a professional business approach to enhance the reputation of Financial Advisory Asset development
  • Develop relationships with key product owners and senior business stakeholders

The successful candidate will have:

  • 1-3 years’ experience working in a similar consulting role involving project and/or change and/or product management - this is provided as a guide only, please don't let it limit you if you have aomsething to add to our team
  • The ability to work across multiple projects and execute plans and deliverables to an excellent standard 
  • Excellent attention to detail and experience providing reporting and delivering communications
  • The ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and develop effective working relationships across the business
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience of working with technology and learning how to leverage different platforms (Tableau, Neota Logic, RPA, UI Path) – this is not essential, but a demonstrated ability to learn about and work with new tech quickly is fundamental
  • The ability to understand business needs and bring a customer-focussed lens to product development
  • Some experience with workshop design and facilitation would be preferable
  • Knowledge of Design Thinking and other innovation methodologies – this is not a must, but will be looked at favourably
