About the Role

Lead the Test Management Office  in a hybrid work environment. Use your agile, enterprise IT project experience to lead an offshore team of quality assurance testers and engineers.

 

What will your typical day look like?  

You will work closely and collaborate with senior stakeholders and project team members. Be responsible for leading the testing functions within projects which includes coordination of test resources, reporting on quality metrics, and management of risks and issues. The test manager owns quality outcomes end to end within a project lifecycle.You will also build an automation program for the testing function, seeking efficiencies through automation

 

About the team
The team engages and works closely with the IT Services Project Delivery Group (PDG) and the Enterprise Applications Services (EAS) team. A hybrid work environment allows for work / life balance as well as interaction in the office with colleagues and our business stakeholders.

Coordination and collaboration is vital in driving this high performance team which is located in offshore.

You are someone with:

 Required: 

  • Managing people performance both as a Coach and in projects
  • Working on enterprise level programs
  • Working on transformational programs including process improvement/re-engineering, with an undertanding of how to apply AI and automation in testing
  • A thorough understanding of new technologies and how they are applied across an IT services team
  • Agile project delivery methodologies
  • Managing competing priorities within tight time frames
  • Operating in an often rapidly changing environment; demonstrated flexibility in approach and attitude
  • Building productive relationships with stakeholders 
  • Preparing reports and presenting ideas clearly and concisely
  • Acting as the intermediary between the testers and technical development teams
  • Formulating and executing the strategic direction of the team
  • Similar role for a minimum of 5 years
