We are seeking an exceptional Team Lead/Manager to join the Growth team! This an opportunity to make a meaningful impact, contribute to major opportunities, and set Deloitte apart in the market. This role will be a 15-month parental leave cover. 

 

What will your typical day look like?

 

The Team Leader is responsible for guiding and managing an agile team within an agile squad. This role

involves serving as an agile coach and scrum master, overseeing the intake process for new tasks and projects, shaping marketing campaigns, providing direction to the creative team, and leading the prioritisation of tasks. The Team Leader ensures alignment with business goals, timely delivery, and continuous improvement through retrospectives and performance measurement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Agile Coach/Scrum Master:

  • Serve as an agile coach and scrum master for the team.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

 

Manages Intake Process:

  • Oversee and manage the intake process for new tasks and projects.

Ensure proper prioritisation and resource allocation.

 

Shapes Campaigns:

  • Develop and shape marketing campaigns in collaboration with the creative team.
  • Ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.

 

Leads and Provides Direction to Creatives:

  • Guide and provide direction to the creative team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment.

 

Leads Prioritisation at Team Level:

  • Lead the prioritisation of tasks and projects within the agile team.
  • Balance workloads and ensure timely delivery.

Sprint Planning, Management, and Retrospectives:

  • Plan, manage, and conduct sprint cycles.
  • Review and improve team processes through retrospectives.

 

Measurement of Team Performance Against Agile KPIs:

  • Track and measure team performance against predefined agile KPIs.
  • Provide regular reports and feedback to stakeholders.

You may have all or some of the following skills/experience:

  • Experience in team and/or people leadership
  • Demonstrated track record in the delivery of successful multi-faceted campaigns and projects
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and campaign management.
  • An ability to develop a strong understanding of agile principles and the ability to apply them to improve team processes and performance.
  • Strong grasp of marketing principles and campaign management, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Leadership & Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement effective strategies to overcome challenges.
  • Motivational Skills: Proven capability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best performance.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively across different teams and stakeholders.
