Talent (HR) Business Partner | Audit & Assurance

We are seeking a Talent (HR) Business Partner to join our high performing Audit & Assurance team on a permanent basis. We are open to candidates in Sydney (preferred) or Melbourne, and we’re seeking someone who is great at building relationships across all levels and passionate about creating a positive work experience for our people.

 

What will your typical day look like?

 

No two days are the same as you collaborate with local and national client groups whilst working with Talent teams across Leadership and Learning, Resourcing, Global Mobility and Employee Relations to deliver HR generalist support to our Audit and Assurance business.  With a focus on Employee Relations and being a trusted advisor to our leaders, the role also offers the opportunity to support national projects and help deliver employee lifecycle experiences.

You will have: 

  • A strong HR business partnering background and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships in a complex, matrix environment
  • Excellent HR generalist skills
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to communicate with leaders at all levels
  • The ability to think strategically and be tenacious, resilient and outcome focused
  • Experience in a fast paced, growth environment with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver creative and innovative talent solutions
  • Act as a trusted advisor to audit leadership teams, supporting strategic people priorities and workforce planning
  • Partner with leaders to drive talent management initiatives, including performance management, career development, and succession planning
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on complex employee relations matters - This is the core skill required for the role. We require someone with strong, hands-on ER experience and the ability to manage complex casework independently
  • Use people data and insights to inform decision-making and identify trends, risks, or opportunities.
