What will your typical day look like?
- Provide quality advice that improves business outcomes for our clients and enables them to achieve their strategic goals. The diversity of work available within the team and across the firm ensures the activities of each consultant are interesting and challenging.
- Provide key insights for client consulting and client implementation projects in areas of strategic advice, mergers, operating models, product development and management, regulatory change, capital management and financial modelling. This will include a range of responsibilities including supervising analysts, model building & testing, optimising data processes, consideration of internal and external factors influencing experience, report drafting and communications with clients.
We will work to give you projects with a wide range of professionals across Deloitte, to enable you to learn first-hand how technical skillsets can be combined with other competencies to create a leading solution to a problem.
We will provide you with one of the strongest project management training available in the actuarial market. You will be trained in core technical skills and project management, but also to be able to think creatively and innovatively.

About the team
Deloitte Investments and Superannuation Advisory team is recognised for providing clients with a comprehensive range of high value advisory and consulting services. Working with some of Australia's major financial services institutions, superannuation funds and service providers, we have achieved significant growth over recent years. This growth has created a number of opportunities within our team.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you
You will have knowledge and experience as follows:
- 4+ years of work experience within superannuation and/ or investments or areas involving relevant transferable skills
- Relevant professional qualifications e.g. actuarial or CFA, or advanced progress towards obtaining them
- Understanding of financial modelling and regulatory standards.
- Hands-on experience with modelling tools will be well regarded.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Time management skills – prioritisation of work without close supervision.
- Adaptable and responsive to a continuously changing environment.
- Willingness and desire to work on client projects across multiple sectors as needed.
