• What will your typical day look like

 

As a Specialist Senior Analyst based in Sydney, you will support the Cyber Risk team by working on various cloud security projects for our customers. You will be involved in analysing user requirements, setting up projects and helping to track and manage engagements through their successful conclusion. 

 

Each day you will be exposed projects that support our clients' strategic security objectives, by protecting the systems and data they care about most. You will be exposed to cutting edge technologies and must have a passion for applying your skills to new problems in a dynamic project-based environment.

 

As you deliver with the team, you will need to remember that our clients often rely on our work, and as such you will be expected to effectively prioritise your time and deliver work for multiple client accounts following Deloitte's quality guidelines and methodologies.
 
Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
You are someone with:
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, etc.
• Demonstrated experience in Cloud application security experience (Azure /AWS Cloud s preferred) including design and implementation of security architectures for large scale workload
• Strong security remediation experience and adoption of security controls best practices in a public cloud provider (Azure /AWS Cloud preferred)
• Demonstrated knowledge of information security concepts, risk and controls concepts
• Strong knowledge of standards such as ISO 27001/2, ISO 22301, ISO 27018, PCI – DSS, AIC Privacy Principles and APRA regulations
• One or more certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, Security+, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor and Lead Implementer
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, concepts of OSI layer and protocols, networking and security concepts
• Experience identifying limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and understanding of regulatory requirements for managing risk associated with third parties
• Strong knowledge of OS (Windows / Linux) security, Database security 
• Sound familiarity with OWASP and Secure SDLC standards / frameworks
• Writing, updating and maintaining technical program, end user documentation and operational procedures 
• Good knowledge of IT infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, IDS, IPS, etc.)
• Knowledge of incident management, disaster recovery and business continuity management
• Knowledge of cryptography, physical an environmental security as well as security architecture and design
• Knowledge of Asset Security and Identity and Access Management
• Working knowledge in Business Continuity Plans & Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR) - conducting business Impact analysis, identify controls, developing recovery strategy, plan testing, training and user awareness, and planning review and maintenance for development of effective business continuity management solutions

The minimum salary for this position is A$89,000 p.a. including superannuation.
