As a ServiceNow Functional Consultant or Business Analyst you will be responsible for helping to run discovery and design workshops, craft user requirements, shape solution designs and work closely with the development and test teams to configure the platform.

 

You will bring a strong business analysis mindset, with an attention to detail focus, good communication and interpersonal skills, and work alongside a team of experienced developers and technology leaders in an enterprise service management environment.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design and Configuration: Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and design ServiceNow solutions that align with business objectives, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. Participate in the full software development lifecycle and support Technical Developers, Testers, Training and Operations.
  • Process Optimisation: Analyse existing processes and identify areas for improvement, utilising ServiceNow capabilities to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor, engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide strategic recommendations to maximise ServiceNow’s potential.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage ServiceNow implementation projects or streams of work, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget while adhering to best practices and agile methodologies. Participate in project planning and management activities, including estimation and status reporting.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest ServiceNow updates and industry trends, applying new insights to improve service delivery and client satisfaction.

Capability requirements:

  • Approximately 1-3 years of experience with the ServiceNow platform, with demonstrated expertise in functional and technical aspects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow development best practices, including design patterns, configuration documentation, coding standards, and testing methodologies.
  • ServiceNow admin certification
  • Related CSM Fundamentals and CSM Implementation training
  • Preferable:
    • ServiceNow Certifications:
      • Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) credentials are highly advantageous.
    • Advanced Tools Knowledge:
      • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and agile methodologies.
