What will your typical day look like?
As a Senior ServiceNow Developer within our dynamic Application Services team, you will architect, design, develop, and standardise solutions that are central to our strategic business goals. Working in Agile teams, you’ll partner with IT and business stakeholders to deliver iterative, high-impact outcomes.
Key Duties
- Lead architecture, design, and full lifecycle development of advanced ServiceNow solutions, driving enterprise transformation and innovation.
- Build and maintain custom applications, workflows, and system integrations, ensuring strict adherence to enterprise standards and best practices.
- ServiceNow platform administration, upgrades, and ongoing support, championing platform stability and optimisation.
- Collaborate proactively with internal teams to resolve software challenges, perform code reviews, enhance system performance, and deliver seamless user experiences.
- Produce clear technical specifications, robust documentation, and best practice guidance to ensure knowledge sharing and team alignment.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Engage with stakeholders to elicit requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, prototyping and providing showcases.
- Uphold compliance with SDLC processes, covering solution design, rigorous testing, deployment, and post-implementation review.
- Drive continuous platform improvement, identify opportunities for enhancement, and champion adoption of new ServiceNow features.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering technical growth and a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

- Broad and deep experience in ServiceNow development, administration, and integration, including scripting, scoped application development, and Service Portal customisation.
- Advanced proficiency in AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, REST/SOAP APIs, and integration technologies.
- Experience in developing and debugging complex custom widgets.
- Hands-on expertise across core ServiceNow modules—including HR Service Delivery (HRSD), and Integrated Risk Management (IRM).
- Demonstrated capability across the full SDLC—requirements, architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Skilled in creating comprehensive technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
