We have a full-time permanent opportunity for an enthusiastic, flexible and dynamic Senior Manager, Planning & Performance to join the Growth Enablement team and help integrate and embed our market choices and Growth’s strategic agenda across the firm.

 

What will your typical day look like?

 

This role provides critical program design and execution to integrate, drive and embed our market choices and Growth’s strategic agenda within our firm’s strategy, with clear measurement of impact and return on investment (ROI).

 

Using a deep understanding of the firm, you will help design and deliver tailored programs that align objectives and approaches, providing the connection between Growth Business Units and translating priorities into measurable outcomes.

 

A key focus is driving efficiencies in how programs are delivered through data and insight-driven reporting, including developing standard ROI models, portfolio-level dashboards and outcomes-led performance narratives to support ongoing optimisation and decision-making for leadership.

 

You will be responsible for designing and delivering programs of work, supported by the Director, Transformation and Reporting and the Director, Growth Office Operations.

The Growth Enablement team drives and delivers the strategic programs, transformations and other activities that activate the Growth strategy of the firm. Growth Enablement is organised around four domains (Sales, Clients & Relationships, Industries & Sectors and Brand & Marketing) with cross-Domain collaboration and alignment to our firm's strategic choices central to our ways of working. 

 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.

You bring a strong blend of financial planning, modelling and commercial insight, with experience translating strategy into measurable outcomes; ideally gained in a consulting or professional services environment.

You may have all, or a selection, of the following:

  • Experience in financial planning and modelling, including revenue planning, forecasting, and linking investment decisions to measurable outcomes
  • Strong strategic and commercial thinking, with the ability to connect priorities, investment choices and ROI
  • Well-developed analytical and insight capability, including ROI modelling, performance storytelling and dashboard/report development
  • Experience designing and applying ROI frameworks and performance measurement approaches to support decision-making
  • Ability to operate within and help improve governance and decision-making structures, embedding practical and scalable ways of working
  • Strong stakeholder management, with the ability to influence senior leaders through clear, evidence-based recommendations
  • Experience in program management, ideally within consulting or professional services
  • A commercial or finance background, demonstrating sound business acumen
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau and/or Anaplan is preferred
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in business, finance or a related field (or equivalent experience)
