Are you a regulatory change or Credit Risk Management professional, working within Consulting or Banking, looking to join a market leading Financial Risk team? We have Senior Manager / Manager roles available.
 
What will your typical day look like?

As a Senior Manager / Manager of Regulatory Changes in the Financial Risk team, you will work with a wide range of clients across the Banking sector by providing advisory services to enhance their Financial Risk management practices, using specialist knowledge, innovative solutions, and reporting analytics & visualisation technique. You will lead and enhance client relationships, working on issues that matter to the industry, including Risk Data Transformation, Basel III Reform, EFS,  IFRS9, Responsible lending, and the continuous improvement of operating model.

We have a mix of regulatory experts, consultants, actuaries and data specialists that help our clients continue to improve their financial Risk Management practices using deep industry expertise and data driven insights, and a client focused mindset.

 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you. 
You are someone with:

•    Sound understanding of various prudential standards from APRA/ASIC, e.g. Basel III, EFS, APS220 and ARS220
•    Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering or equivalent field(s)
•    A sound technical grounding in at least one of SAS, SQL, R Programming
•    A sounds visualisation and reporting analytics skills by using at least one of Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx
•    Good technical BA skills - interpretation of the regulatory standards, data sourcing, data profiling, implementation of reporting and analytics, and documentation of technical/non-technical logics
•    Experience in any of the following : 
o    Reviewing / Implementation of regulatory requirements from APRA/ASIC 
o    Risk Reporting and Analytics with good level of understanding of Credit Risk factors (PD/LGD/EAD), Regulatory/Economic capital, or IFRS9
o    Automation on reporting / credit decisioning process / collection management
•    Industry or consulting experience, including but not limited to:
o    Big 4 consulting
o    Banking
o    Regulatory bodies (e.g. APRA, ASIC)
o    Financial Services
o    Insurance
•    Experience mentoring and coaching others in your chosen industry specialism, to upskill the broader team’s capability and deliver outstanding results for our clients 
•    Experience in leading projects and coaching others to deliver outstanding results
•    Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in following processes and procedures
•    A proactive mindset and approach are a must, as is a curious mind and a thirst to learn
•    An ability to turn data into actionable insights via a story
