About the team
In our Operations Transformation practice we focus on addressing the issues and questions that keep COOs awake at night. We start right at the top, helping our clients articulate and implement their strategic direction and touch every layer of an organisation from improving the customer experience to business and financial performance right down to the shop floor, optimising day to day operations and supply chain efficiency.
Our team works with high calibre executives and senior leaders, both in Australia and internationally, who are faced with the requirement to transform their operations to increase productivity, lower costs and restructure their business models to get the most out of their workforce and assets to remain competitive.
We specialise in turning strategies into measurable and sustainable results. Our clients face complex challenges that range from transformation in response to market demands through to disruption from technology advances such as robotics and cognitive automation that drive them to rethink customer experience and the efficiencies that can be gained from operations. Our team is growing rapidly in response to market demands for critical thinkers who can solve complex business problems.
About the role
- Engage directly with senior clients across health and adjacent industries on their most important and challenging business issues and addressing and solving their priority operational problems
- Work with a high performing team with a strong commitment to excellence in pursuit of helping our clients drive quality and performance through their business operations
- Demonstrate an exceptional understanding of complex operations management and the ability to several client projects
- Understanding of key technologies, digitisation and AI impacts to the sector
- This role requires proven people management capabilities, exceptional team leadership skills and the ability and desire to develop others in their careers
- Draw on Deloitte’s unique capabilities in design thinking, digital, data and analytics, Deloitte Access Economics and experience from our global consulting network.

About your Experience
In response to strong client demand for our services we are currently seeking to recruit an outstanding Operations Transformation Senior Manager with extensive experience in the health sector and adjacent industries.
To succeed in this role you will have:
- Extensive operations consulting experience in a Tier 1 Consulting firm, boutique strategy and technology house or a senior internal advisory role with proven experience as a trusted business advisor to senior client leaders
- Must have a strong background in health & human services organisations, with preferred experience in improvement, productivity and performance including leadership in technology and business transformation programmes
- Proven experience leading large scale operation transformation consulting projects, managing senior relationships within top listed organisations, and managing large, diverse teams, virtually and face-to-face
- Ability to solve complex business problems using a hypothesis-based approach
- Demonstrated experience in leading client pursuits and ability to adapt to market trends
- Ability to quickly build rapport and grow client relationships to establish a strong network in market
- Demonstrated experience in operating model design, business process management, complex transformation and operational improvement.
- Strong analytical and modelling skills
- Experience in a leadership role emphasising growing and developing junior team members and driving a culture of continuous learning
