We partner with clients to uplift security operations, implement threat-informed defence strategies, and future-proof their cyber operating models. What Will Your Typical Day Look Like?
As a Senior Manager, you will take on a strategic leadership role across client delivery, team development, and business growth. You’ll shape and lead complex security operations projects, guide clients through cyber transformation journeys, and influence the evolution of Deloitte’s cyber defence services. \
Your day might include:

Leading the end-to-end delivery of large-scale SOC transformation and implementation projects.

Advising CISOs and executive stakeholders on SOC strategy, operating model design, threat detection capabilities, and security tooling.

Developing and overseeing complex engagement plans, managing project teams and ensuring delivery excellence.

Mentoring and growing a diverse team of consultants and managers, fostering a culture of inclusion, performance, and learning.

Contributing to the growth of the SOC practice through solution development, go-to-market activities, and account leadership.

Keeping abreast of emerging threats, adversary tactics, and cyber defence innovations to advise clients and evolve Deloitte offerings.

You are an experienced cybersecurity leader with a track record of delivering outcomes in security operations environments. You bring a strategic lens to technical problems, and you're passionate about mentoring teams, building client trust, and leading complex projects.
Team Leadership and Development

Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across multiple concurrent engagements.

Skilled in managing, mentoring, and developing diverse talent.

A collaborative leadership style and ability to inspire high performance.
Cyber Defence Expertise
-
Deep understanding of security operations, threat intelligence, detection engineering, incident response, and SIEM/SOAR, and Agentic AI tooling.

Familiarity with industry frameworks such as NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, AESCSF, and ISO 27001.

Awareness of next-gen SOC models, hybrid delivery, and threat-informed defence strategies.
Client Engagement

Strong experience delivering strategic cyber engagements to executive-level stakeholders.

Ability to translate technical challenges into business-relevant language and outcomes.

Track record of building trusted relationships and contributing to account growth.
Delivery Excellence

Demonstrated ability to deliver complex cyber programmes and advisory projects end-to-end.

Experience working across regulated industries (e.g. FSI, Energy, Government, Healthcare).

Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity and value for clients.
Key Position Tasks
As a Senior Manager, you will:

Lead large SOC transformation engagements across strategy, implementation, and optimisation.

Advise senior stakeholders on SOC maturity, threat coverage, and operating model uplift.

Guide the design and implementation of tailored detection and response capabilities.

Manage delivery teams, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful outcomes.

Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders across technology, risk, and operations.

Drive business development efforts by shaping proposals, identifying opportunities, and building strategic relationships.

Contribute to the development of Deloitte’s cyber defence offerings and methods.
