We are seeking an experienced, collaborative and engaging Senior HR Manager to join our Strategy, Risk & Transactions Talent (HR) team on a full-time basis.
The role is within the BU Talent team partnering Strategy, Risk & Transactions (SR&T) and part of an energetic team who provide best in class support for our employee experience. We work flexibly to ensure we collaborate and connect with our leaders and the broader talent team both virtually and in location.
We are looking for a Senior Manager who is dedicated and passionate about creating a differentiated work experience for our people to be their best self, and in turn be surrounded by those who encourage, inspire and support making impact that matters. We are looking for someone who is great at building relationships at all levels, confident in bringing innovative ideas to the table, is a demonstrated problem solver and thrives in fast paced environments.
What will your typical day look like?
- Reporting to the SR&T Talent Director, you will work closely with partners as the Talent Lead in your Offering Portfolios, delivering on the Talent strategy in line with business priorities.
- Stakeholder management is a key competency of this role and we empower our leaders to own their relationships and influence at a senior level
- Playing a critical role in owning portfolios under the national Talent strategy, you will use your HR generalist expertise to advise and support your stakeholders on a breadth of activity such as business transformation, nurturing top talent, employee relations, performance management and coaching capability
- Provide leadership and coaching across the SR&T Talent team, including one direct report at Senior Consultant level

You are someone with:
- Several years HR generalist foundation with an ability to think strategically and translate this into practical operational outcomes. Experience from candidates with time in generalist HR and centres of excellence also welcome
- Strong problem solving and decision-making ability
- Great coaching capability and someone who cares for the development of their people and the broader team
- Depth of experience to manage employee relations matters aligned to the firm’s shared values
- Ability to analyse and interpret data to inform business decisions
- Phenomenal interpersonal skills to nurture relationships with senior stakeholders, and able to leverage these relationships to positively challenge thinking and influence outcomes.
- Experience in delivering HR programs across businesses, that require proactive planning, a high level of numeracy and attention to detail and strong communication skills
- HR Business Partnering experience ideally gained from a matrix organisation or larger scale employer
