We're looking for a Senior HR Manager, PMO to bring their expertise in optimising operational talent processes across the full employee lifecycle within our Technology & Transformation (T&T) portfolio. This is a 12-month parental leave cover, based in either Sydney or Melbourne.
This role is a key enabler for BU Talent in the delivery of critical BAU HR activities through data analysis and insights, as well as supporting the delivery of cyclical projects and initiatives.
What will your typical day look like?
As PMO lead for T&T, you’ll be a key support and working closely with the BU Talent Director to deliver the people agenda. You will work closely with communications team and CoS, collaborating across a range of talent projects for the leadership team.
You’ll lead the planning, messaging, and preparation of all talent-related content for leadership meetings, managing a high volume of agenda items. You’ll set the direction for team deliverables, including partner and teammate performance cycles, and ensure seamless coordination of projects and change management.
Your focus will be on evolving and improving talent processes, aligning them with business priorities and enhancing the employee experience. You’ll embed COE initiatives, drive change management, and connect across talent streams such as Talent Acquisition and Learning, proactively identifying and managing risks.
You’ll also play a lead role with T&T CFO and leadership stakeholders on commercial talent topics (metrics, modelling, Anaplan), and build team capability in talent strategy, project management, HR analysis, and knowledge management. You’ll bridge T&T/Consulting and central teams, ensuring high-quality delivery of HR services.

You may have all or some of the following skills / experience:
- A strong HR Business Partnering background who can build strong stakeholder relationships
- Experience in PMO leadership, project/change management, and HR process improvement
- Strong experience in executing talent processes and working with HR systems and data across the full employee lifecycle
- Excellent PowerPoint, Excel and data analytics skills – a big part of the role will involve managing, analysing and simplifying large complex HR datasets (e.g. supporting Rem Review, leave data analysis, complex reporting and trend analysis etc.)
- Outcome focused using structured problem solving, process mapping, systems thinking and consulting methodologies to deliver on projects, including demonstrated experience in continuous improvement and process optimisation
- The ability to communicate ideas, strategies, and concepts in clear, compelling and credible ways to stakeholders at all levels, including the ability to visualise data and reporting in a simple, easy-to-digest formats
- Excellent organisational skills to prepare and maintain project documentation and reporting
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with an ability to deal with ambiguity
