What will your typical day look like?

From solution design through to deployment, you'll lead the build of secure, scalable Amazon Connect environments that integrate with core AWS services like Lambda, S3 and DynamoDB. A big part of the role is making sure the technical architecture is robust, practical and aligned to best practice across cloud, integration, DevOps and infrastructure as code.

Working closely with clients, you'll help translate business goals into customer experience platforms that are intelligent, compliant and built to scale. That could mean advising senior stakeholders on delivery approach, guiding implementation decisions, or shaping AI-augmented conversational capabilities that improve how customers engage with a brand.

Success in this role comes through leadership as much as technical depth. You'll work with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior practitioners, and contribute to Deloitte's thinking on Amazon Connect innovation and best practice, all while keeping delivery moving and quality high.

About the team

Deloitte's Customer Experience Technology team helps organisations design and deliver the platforms, tools and architectures that sit behind great customer interactions. The team works across digital transformation, cloud contact centre technology and AI-enabled experience design, bringing together strategy, engineering and delivery capability to help clients build more connected, responsive and future-ready customer operations.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences:

• Deep hands-on experience with Amazon Connect and broader AWS cloud architecture

• Strong capability across AWS services such as Lambda, S3 and DynamoDB

• Experience designing secure, scalable and resilient cloud solutions

• A track record leading end-to-end technology delivery across complex client environments

• Confidence communicating technical concepts to both technical stakeholders and senior business leaders

• Experience building technical standards, governance approaches or best-practice frameworks

• A collaborative leadership style, with a genuine interest in mentoring and developing others

• AWS certifications, especially Solution Architecture, or a relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
