What will your typical day look like?

We are looking for a Senior End User Technology Specialist to help design, implement, and maintain our organizations end-user computing environment. This role involves managing desktop and laptop configurations, automating deployments, enhancing security, and optimizing performance. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windows, macOS, endpoint management solutions, and scripting to improve efficiency and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work within the EUT team to provide End-User Computing Management
  • Design, deploy, and manage enterprise desktop/laptop environments (Windows & macOS).
  • Standardize OS images and automate device provisioning using tools like Autopilot, Intune, SCCM, and JAMF.
  • Optimize desktop performance and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Security & Compliance:
    • Implement security policies, including patching, encryption, and access controls.
    • Ensure compliance with company security policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Work with security teams to mitigate vulnerabilities and enforce endpoint protection.
    • Identify opportunities to automate current processes
    • Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash) to streamline deployments and system configurations.
    • Implement self-service solutions to reduce IT support overhead.
  • Collaboration & Support:
    • Act as a top-tier escalation point for complex desktop-related issues.
    • Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and IT support teams
    • Work with cross-functional teams to improve IT processes and user experience.
  • Technology & Innovation:
    • Research and recommend new technologies to enhance endpoint management.
    • Lead migration projects (e.g., Windows/macOS upgrades, hardware refreshes).
    • Contribute to IT strategy for modern workplace technologies, including cloud-based management.
    • Implement agile operation & deployment practices

We proactively address user needs, troubleshoot issues, and drive digital transformation. Our focus is on optimizing tools, ensuring security, and enhancing overall user satisfaction. We create a reliable, secure, and efficient tech environment for all users.

 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
 

You are someone with:

  • 5+ years of experience in desktop engineering, IT support, or endpoint management in a large environment.
  • Experience in deploying and managing Windows modern workplace management
  • Expert-level knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS, and MDM solutions (Intune, JAMF, SCCM).
  • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation and configuration management.
  • Experience with security tools like BitLocker, Defender ATP, CrowdStrike, or similar.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Wi-Fi troubleshooting).
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VDI, Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, etc.) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Linux desktops is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
  • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP)
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
