We are seeking a Senior End User Technology Specialist to join our ITS team based in Sydney. This is a full-time opportunity to play a key role in designing, enhancing and securing Deloitte’s end-user computing environment. You’ll help drive automation, modern endpoint management and workplace transformation initiatives that directly impact the experience of our people across the firm.

What will your typical day look like?

Day to day you will be designing, deploying and managing enterprise desktop and laptop environments across Windows 11 and macOS. You’ll work closely with the broader End User Technology team to automate device provisioning, optimise system performance and continuously uplift security controls across the environment.

In this role, you’ll act as a senior escalation point for complex endpoint issues, mentor junior engineers and contribute to major initiatives such as OS upgrades, hardware refresh programs and modern cloud-based management implementations. You’ll also identify opportunities to automate manual processes, implement self-service solutions and continuously improve the end-user experience.

Deloitte’s ITS team enables secure, modern and high-performing workplace technology experiences for our people nationally. The End User Technology team is responsible for shaping and maintaining Deloitte’s endpoint strategy, balancing innovation with operational excellence.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.

You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:

• 5+ years of experience in desktop engineering, IT support or endpoint management within a large enterprise environment
• Experience deploying and managing macOS environments at scale using JAMF
• Experience managing Windows modern workplace environments using Intune, Autopilot and/or SCCM
• Strong knowledge of endpoint management and MDM solutions
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to automate deployments and configurations
• Experience implementing endpoint security controls (e.g. BitLocker, Defender ATP or similar tools)
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Wi-Fi troubleshooting)
• Experience acting as a senior escalation point and mentoring junior team members
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Certifications such as JAMF Certified Admin, Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or ITIL Foundation are highly regarded.
