We’re looking for future strategic advisors and executive relationship builders who are excited about developing breadth and depth across functional capabilities and industry topics and have a passion for tackling a variety of business, technological, and organisational challenges head-on. You will:

What will your typical day look like?
As a Senior Consultant at Monitor Deloitte your core focus is being part of a project delivery team, shaping deliverables and taking a leadership role for junior team and/or a workstream within a project. In addition to this, you will contribute to business development, thought leadership and team sales.
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include;
• Working largely independently to lead a stream of work including, determining client problems and co-designing options / solutions with clients in a structured and logical manner, as well as developing deliverable structures and presenting outputs to senior stakeholders
• Guiding the direction and delivery of research and analysis including determining the appropriate primary and secondary sources to gather and validate data / insights
• Developing strong client relationships to deliver projects on-time and to clients’ expectations
• Directing junior practitioners in the delivery of work and coaching them to develop their own strategy consulting capabilities
• Contributing to practice and business development activities e.g. through the development best practice methodologies, thought leadership material and/or sales materials

You’ll deliver innovative solutions and strategic recommendations by conducting comprehensive market research, building analytical models, and presenting insights to support your conclusions. You’ll also directly engage with clients through designing and facilitating interviews and workshops.

• Have the curiosity to learn and be proactive in bringing forward ideas. Can research, gather, and analyse information to solve ambiguous problems. Are comfortable with data analytics and can apply to develop data driven insights
• Be able to solve diverse problems through a structured problem-solving approach across a range of industries
• Be trusted to deliver work largely independently and use your mastery of technical consulting skills to direct others
• Apply fundamental project management skills in scoping, designing, and planning projects pre-kick off and ongoing governance throughout the project lifecycle to delivery best in class outcomes for clients.
• Build highly effective small teams while guiding junior strategy practitioners and building strong client relationships
• Understand the end-to-end sales process, and lead subsections of proposals and small initiatives internally.
• Possess highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with a range of clients
• Embody a strong sense of team and a passion to develop others as well as themselves
Using knowledge gained throughout your career, you can confidently scope, design, and deliver projects in unfamiliar industries, while directing others within a small team and guiding junior practitioners as well as the development of deliverable subsections and build strong client relationships.
