Unique role for a Conflicts Sr consultant, keen to learn and expand their experience with our Quality and Risk team, supporting the broader business.


What will your typical day look like?
Joining the Conflicts team, you will support Managers and Directors of client facing teams, assisting them to identify potential conflicts between entities, determining where safeguards can be put in place to take on client engagements.  With no two days being the same, your responsibilities will be varied, performing conflict checks, conducting database research on corporate structures, identifying and analysing potential conflicts, understanding policy, developing relationships with key internal stakeholders, and more.

Welcome to the Quality & Risk team – a team of experienced risk professionals who provide advice across our Deloitte's business teams. We help the business navigate through any ethical / professional uncertainties by identifying and managing their risks on their client engagements. Ultimately, we strive to help our business teams maintain a standard of high-quality work, offering clients the “only at Deloitte” experience. 


Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
You are someone with a hunger to learn and broaden your understanding of corporate structures, mergers and acquisitions, and conflicts analysis (with around 1-2 years of relevant experience in these areas). You have excellent time management and an ability to juggle multiple priorities in an environment where no two days are the same. You show calmness under pressure and have the confidence to develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders. You also have the following:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • An analytical mind coupled with excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to conduct extensive research using multiple sources on-line

  • Experience working with colleagues in a remote/virtual environment

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Legal, Accounting or a related field.
