Senior Client Account Director (9 Month Parental Leave Cover)

We are seeking an exceptional Client Account Director to join the Growth team! This an opportunity to make a meaningful impact, contribute to major opportunities, and set Deloitte apart in the market. We are open to candidates from Sydney and this will be a 9-month parental leave cover.
What will your typical day look like?
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading/co-leading the account strategy and planning process with a strong focus on ROI and innovation
- Driving high-performance account operations by connecting teams across the global network and driving appropriate account cadence, and developing account agendas, speakers and engaging topics
- Develop and analyse reports and present on account metrics such as revenue, forecasting, pipeline activity and major pursuits
- Working with and connecting all Business Units to bring the best of Deloitte in go-to-market activities to deliver ‘real’ value for our clients
- Undertaking client feedback interviews and win/loss reviews to generate key client insights, identification of trends and share these with account teams
- Drive key account pursuits by understanding the client’s strategic objectives and helping identify and bring the most relevant resources, intellectual property and knowledge locally and globally
- Procurement relationship management
- Develop and manage internal and external communications including newsletters, strategic events and account wins and insights
- Managing and working closely with an Account Coordinator and additional resources to support account operations and account administrative activity
- Lead and coach a team of Client Account Managers within the Financial Services Industry
- Drives best practices and leads collaboration across the Client Account team and with the relevant Cross Pillar teams

You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrable experience in account management or similar role, operating within a complex account management environment (10+ years)
- The ability to influence and respectfully challenge senior stakeholders
- Enthusiasm, resilience and pragmatism
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, ability to interpret data and identify trends
- Significant experience in leading or coaching a team. Leadership skills, including influencing, directing, leading and motivating a team, are essential
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities, know when to make sound judgement calls and when to delve deeper with senior leaders
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritise and manage projects to conclusion
- Can work independently in a high-performance team environment and collaborate with firm-wide resources
- Understanding of CRM systems and pipeline management, or ability to learn quickly
- The ability to contribute to business process improvements
- A background in the Financial Services sector or the ability to quickly learn about the sector/industry
- Professional services knowledge is an asset
