This is a great opportunity for an actuarial professional to join Deloitte's Treasury and Risk Assurance team in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, working in a hybrid way on high-impact insurance and financial risk work.
What will your typical day look like?
Your work will span actuarial valuation audit support, pricing and broader market risk advisory across insurance, banking and investment sector clients. That could mean assessing actuarial liabilities, contributing to pricing reviews, or supporting projects tied to liquidity, funding, credit and market risk.
A big part of the role is helping clients respond to complex regulatory and commercial challenges. You'll support work connected to governance, controls and regulatory expectations across treasury and markets functions, including APRA, Basel and IOSCO-related requirements, while contributing to advice that stands up in real operational environments.
Working closely with Directors, Partners and colleagues across advisory and audit, you'll get variety, coaching and the chance to deepen your expertise. The team works across service offerings as client needs evolve, so this role offers strong exposure to different problems, stakeholders and ways of working.
About the team
Deloitte's specialist Treasury and Risk Assurance team supports some of Australia's largest publicly listed companies, private businesses and government clients. Within the team, you'll work on insurance, banking and superannuation matters that sit at the intersection of actuarial insight, financial risk and regulatory change, with opportunities to contribute across both advisory and audit engagements.
