As part of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in integrating cutting-edge technology solutions into tax functions, particularly in emerging areas such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), tax function transformation, data analytics, and the pillars of emerging e-invoicing and e-reporting. What will your typical day look like?
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team who truly value workplace agility, diversity of thought and approach, and individual strengths. Working across our Tax and Legal business and partnering with our Consulting practice you will gain valuable insights into the way we work and be supported to innovate to continue our business growth. Working with the Tax Transformation Consulting (TTC) team will also give you ample learning and development opportunities to broaden your professional skillset as well as opportunities to make a difference in how we, as a firm, conduct our day-to-day tasks
Who will you be working with?
You’ll be working with a diverse team to support in the design of smart and innovative technology solutions for the tax function of the future. You will be responsible for delivering on the Tax Transformation strategy and ambitions of our clients. You will need to be able to balance the demands of delivering efficient solutions in the short term while also thinking strategically about how to innovate for the future.
Your areas of focus will include:
- Designing, building, and implementing direct and indirect tax technology software to streamline and automate processes for clients
- Supporting clients in their digital transformation journey
- Develop and Apply tax technical skills to broader client finance transformation projects
- Working side-by-side with tax and technology specialists to deliver effective and future proof tax solutions.
- Adding value to your clients, the Firm, and your career in equal measure.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
- You are someone who will bring experience in one or more of the following competencies:
- Completed a bachelor’s degree in business/commerce (Accounting/Taxation/Finance) preferably completed tax law units as well as any business IT units
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
- Has a passion for innovation and making an impact on the tax industry
- Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to improve the client’s experience
- Having a high attention to detail
- High level of curiosity and ability to think outside the box
- Has a passion to understand the role of technology in tax
- Experience with income tax provisioning
- Experience with compiling income tax returns
- Experience with Pillar Two and Country-by-Country Reporting
- CA qualified or interested in pursuing CA qualifications
