What will your typical day look like?

You will work with clients across wealth management, superannuation, insurance and banking, supporting assurance and advisory engagements that help them meet regulator expectations. You will plan and deliver pieces of work end-to-end, applying audit standards and Deloitte methodology, and turning complex requirements into clear, practical outcomes.

Your day will blend fieldwork and collaboration: meeting client stakeholders, understanding processes and controls, testing what matters, and documenting work to a high-quality standard. As you build trusted relationships, you will also coach junior team members and help them grow, while stretching your own skills through varied work and real responsibility.

 

About the team

You will join Deloitte’s Financial Services Regulatory Audit Team within Audit & Assurance, a national practice working across major financial services sectors. The team is growing and brings together regulatory specialists and auditors who support complex, high-profile issues.

 

Enough about us, let's talk about you. You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences:

  • Knowledge of ASIC and/or APRA regulations and standards.
  • 2/3+ years’ experience in audit, risk and/or compliance roles.
  • Experience supporting assurance and advisory engagements in financial services.
  • Ability to apply audit standards and sound professional judgement.
  • Confidence in assessing risks and linking them to testing and outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and clear communication.
  • A consistent focus on quality and well-documented work.
  • Degree in commerce, business, law, finance, risk, compliance or equivalent.
  • CA qualified or working towards CA (or equivalent).
  • Interest in mentoring and supporting junior team members.
