This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing external audit team in Sydney, where you’ll step into a senior-in-charge role across ASX-listed engagements. What will your typical day look like?

In this role, you’ll take the lead on external audit engagements, using your leadership and mentoring skills to guide teams and deliver high-quality outcomes for clients. You’ll work across a diverse portfolio, gaining exposure to complex accounting issues and dynamic business environments.
You’ll stay up to date with evolving regulations and best practices, ensuring audit quality remains at the forefront. You’ll also contribute to innovation initiatives, helping shape how we deliver more than traditional audit services. Beyond your day-to-day work, you’ll have opportunities to explore internal mobility and broaden your career within Deloitte.

In our Listed team, you’ll work with a diverse portfolio including ASX-listed organisations, large multinational groups, and private equity owned clients. Our work spans industries such as consumer, energy and resources, TMT, healthcare, and construction.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.

You may have all or some of the following skills / experience:

• 4+ years’ experience in external audit
• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, commerce, or a related field
• CA qualification (or equivalent), or close to completion
• Experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm (preferred)
• Exposure to a range of engagements and industries
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capability
• Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
