About the team
At Deloitte, we help financial institutions tackle their most complex challenges — from financial risk management and regulatory change to modernising finance functions. As a Senior Analyst in our Advisory practice, you’ll work at the intersection of risk, regulation, and finance, supporting Australia’s top banks in navigating change and unlocking value.
What will your typical day look like?
- Supporting clients to deliver complex change and transformation projects, including those driven by regulatory change, risk remediation, or finance transformation agendas.
- Contributing to advisory reviews, including current state assessments and gap analyses.
- Preparing high-quality presentations, reports, and analysis to support client recommendations.
- Engaging directly with clients, building relationships, and working in cross-functional teams to drive practical outcomes.
- Keeping abreast of emerging prudential and regulatory developments and contributing to thought leadership.

You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences:
- 3–5 years’ experience in a professional services, consulting, or financial services industry role.
- An audit or advisory background, ideally with exposure to banking and financial institutions.
- A good understanding of the financial services’ regulatory framework, including APRA prudential regulation.
- Exposure to finance, treasury, or risk management disciplines — such as capital and liquidity, financial control, or financial risk management frameworks.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn.
