What will your typical day look like?
 

  • Build Data Design and Data Migration Strategy defining the methodology and approach of migration to S4HANA from various legacy environments
  • Build the data migration plan, prepare, and execute data migrations for the entire duration of the project
  • Prepare for and lead data design workshops with the clients
  • Understand the best-practice scope & be able to guide and direct clients in adopting them
  • Design, build, test and deploy data migration ETL programs especially using BODS, Syniti ADMM and Data Migration Cockpit
  • Help client understand the data cleansing efforts based on the business processes and provide the data cleansing approach focusing on the resources, and schedule needed to perform the clean-up of legacy data
  • Build and implement Master Data Governance framework and operating model for the client that enables effective management of client information to take advantage of data for decision making
  • Apply Deloitte tools and methodologies to design, configure, build, and test application functionality
  • Viewed as subject matter expert on data migration, data management and deployment through migration cycles
  • Lead highly skilled senior and junior, small sized project teams
  • Provide training to users and fellow consultants


About the Team
 

Deloitte's Enterprise Application SAP practice helps clients solve complex business issues by combining process and industry knowledge with deep expertise in enabling technologies and packaged software and this team is expanding rapidly.


We are seeking a talented Senior SAP Data management and migration expert to become a critical member of Deloitte’s growing SAP practice. This role will require you to work on client sites, supporting them throughout the whole project life cycle from Design to Go Live


Outside of your client facing and advisory work, you will also play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Deloitte’s SAP practice. You are someone with:

  • Min 4 - 8 years’ experience with SAP BODS, Syniti ADMM, Data migration and ETL processes
  • Experience of data migration and data management in at least 2 end to end S4HANA implementations
  • Very good knowledge of SAP Data Migration Cockpit, ability to enhance DMC and experience of debugging and isolating DMC issues
  • Experience in migrating data for multiple SAP modules – FI, EAM, SD, PR, SC, PS and cross functional and core data objects – Business Partners, Material Master Must have solid client engagement skills/expertise
  • Capability to lead design, build, testing and deployment for a 2-5 member data migration team with deep technical and functional experience.
  • Strong communication & presentation skills - both written and verbal
  • A consulting mindset to work collaboratively and cohesively with the team, investing in growth and expansion opportunities for all team members
  • Be innovative to take efficient, reusable approaches to work and help build a strong robust data practice internally for future opportunities
  • A strong belief in our values of client first, serving with integrity, being inclusive and leading the way
  • SAP certification in BODS, Syniti ADMM will be treated as an added advantage
  • Experience with SAP ABAP, SAP MDG, Data Profiling along with different ETL tools will be treated as a huge advantage
  • Experience in configuring and using SAP MDG for master data management will be a huge advantage
