We’re looking for a confident, curious, and can-do Consultant to join our Resource Management team. You don’t need to have all the skills yet, we’ll support you to build them. What we’re looking for is someone ready to jump in, get involved, and grow quickly in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

What will your typical day look like?

This internal role is all about enabling the business to thrive through strategic workforce planning. You’ll support resource planning decisions, help shape career pathways, and provide insights that connect people, capability, and business performance.

You’ll play a key role in helping the business make smarter workforce decisions, aligning capability with client demand, optimising utilisation, and contributing to commercial performance. Along the way, you’ll see first-hand how Resource Management influences strategic priorities and delivers measurable business outcomes.

We’ll help you develop a strong foundation in resource management, from workforce planning and scheduling to commercial thinking, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven decision-making. You’ll gain deep insight into how people, projects, and profitability intersect, building a skill set that sets you up for a rewarding internal career.

About the team

Each member of our Resource Management team is a trusted adviser to the business helping ensure the right people are on the right jobs at the right time. We deploy practitioners to engagements, influence capability development, and provide insights that support workforce strategy and commercial performance.

We’re a collaborative, inclusive, and energetic team that knows the Audit & Assurance business inside out and we play a critical role in how the business runs and grows.

The Audit & Assurance business in Australia serves many of the largest publicly listed companies, private businesses, and all levels of government. We are committed to excellence, integrity, and delivering real value to the business.

 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone with:

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • A natural ability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence stakeholders
  • Experience working with data to prepare, interpret, and communicate meaningful insights
  • Solid MS Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, solution-focused mindset
  • The ability to balance competing priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with resource management, workforce planning, or scheduling tools (e.g. DayShape or similar platforms).
  • Experience in resource management, workforce planning, scheduling, or a similar planning or coordination role
