Part Analysis. Part Advisory. Real estate is a critical element of most businesses in Australia whether as an owner, an occupier, an investor, a developer or government. From Strategic Advisory, Occupier Advisory, Transactions, to Project and Construction advisory, our Real Estate team helps clients make the most of their property across the entire property lifecycle.

 

About the team

 

The Real Estate Advisory pillar within our Infrastructure & Real Estate (IRE) team is focussed on assisting our clients to take a strategic approach to property and translating corporate goals through the property lifecycle. In your role you will be conducting in depth property market research to support benchmarking activities, investment/divestment decisions, development feasibility analysis, valuations and general property advice. You will assist in undertaking quantitative and qualitative analysis as well as cost modelling and preparing foundational correspondence including reports and presentations and building relationships within the team (internally and externally).

As part of Deloitte’s Strategy, Risk & Transactions practice, our IRE team is looking for team members with an interest in real estate and property development. IRE focusses on serving our clients in inspirational, impactful, and innovative ways, whether it be around policy and funding, transactions and commercial advice, operational transformation or project management.

The IRE offering coves the entire life cycle of an infrastructure project, grouped into four main pillars: 

  1. Infrastructure Advisory (known internally as Business Case & Strategy) – Shaping, optimising and managing business cases and strategy.
  2. Real Estate Advisory (known internally as Commercial & Transactions) – Structuring your project for maximum value and success.
  3. Project Management and Delivery (known internally as Project Advisory & Delivery) – Providing integrated project and development solutions for our clients.
  4. Health and Human Services (known internally as Operational Transformation) – Driving change for improved outcomes and enhanced delivery for stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with: 

  • A passion for property and all things real estate.
  • An attention to detail and a little bit of a perfectionist!
  • Strong business report writing capability
  • Sound research and analytics capability
  • A Bachelor or Masters degree in Property or Land Economics, Construction and Valuation.
