What will your typical day look like?  

As a Project Finance Manager, you will: 

• Partner closely with Development Management teams to provide day‑to‑day commercial and financial leadership across residential, commercial and retail development projects, supporting sound decision‑making. 

• Oversee end-to-end project accounting and project statutory submission for development projects, including capital expenditure tracking and compliance with IFRS/AASB standards. 

• Manage project profit, cost and cash performance, including forecasting, variance analysis and identification of opportunities to optimise commercial outcomes. 

• Oversee accounting, reporting and compliance requirements for development projects, ensuring accurate financial governance and alignment with internal and external obligations. 

• Engage with capital and joint‑venture partners, delivering clear financial insights, responding to commercial queries and supporting project governance forums. 

• Collaborate with develop offshore delivery teams. 

• Your ability to combine technical accounting expertise with strategic thinking will be essential.

You are someone with:  

• Proven industry experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), financial reporting and financial control with minimum 7 years of experience in project accounting, ideally within the real estate development sector. 

• Strong skills in financial modelling, budgeting, and reporting using tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau. 

• Proven ability to manage large-scale property development projects and associated financial controls. 

• Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle Fusion) and planning tools (Hyperion, Anaplan). 

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 

• Strategic thinking with the ability to translate financial insights into actionable business strategies. 

• CA, CPA or equivalent qualification is mandatory.
