What will your typical day look like?
You will work closely with the ESCoE Lead and Assistant Lead to ensure best practice processes are upheld and followed, assist in any follow up or requests from Finance or Engagement Teams and Partners, along with any other ad hoc requirements. You will regularly liaise with a varied stakeholder group. In addition, you will work in an engaged and high performing team where you can make a real impact on the effective operation of the ESCoE function within the firm.
Your specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Excellent service delivery to practitioners
- Timely and accurate processing of entries with SWIFT
- Streamlining and enhancing ESCoE Team processes
- Upholding excellence in engagement coordination and administration
- Be a centre of excellence for engagement coordination and administration for Deloitte nationally
About the team
The Engagement Financial Operations (EFO) team provides a comprehensive firm-wide engagement support service to facilitate good engagement health, hygiene, and financial management across all engagements and client accounts. The EFO support Partners and engagement teams with engagement financial management, whilst providing insights relating to engagement financial risk and impacts on engagement financial performance.
The Engagement Support Centre of Excellence (ESCoE) team sits under EFO in the National Finance Business Unit and is responsible for accurate and timely processing of engagement transactions in SWIFT, supporting the business with engagement set up and administration advice.

- Sound skills in MS Office, including intermediate Excel skills
- A keen eye for detail

Desired
- Office administration or financial team background
- Degree or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Management – Or currently studying
