We are seeking a highly experienced solution architect to join Deloitte’s Asia Pacific Operate Centre of Excellence. This is a permanent role with flexible location options across Australia and the Asia Pacific region. You’ll be joining a newly formed, high-impact program helping clients transform how they operate and maintain their technology and business services. This is your chance to work at the intersection of technology, strategy, and client impact in a fast-moving, collaborative environment. 

What will your typical day look like? 

Day to day you will be leading enterprise architecture initiatives, working closely with client and internal teams to design, integrate, and optimise technology solutions at scale. You’ll provide architectural leadership across cloud, ERP, data, and integration landscapes, while shaping operating models that deliver measurable business value. 

You’ll spend your time: 

• Acting as a trusted advisor to pursuit teams, supporting pre-sales and solution design activities 

• Leading architectural decision-making, enforcing standards and best practices, and developing reusable frameworks 

• Collaborating with delivery and operations teams to ensure solutions are operationally sound, scalable, and cost-effective 

• Contributing to architecture roadmaps, solution accelerators, and continuous improvement initiatives across the region

Operate is one of Deloitte’s Four at the Core strategic pillars and a cornerstone of our transformation journey. Our Asia Pacific Operate Centre of Excellence delivers scalable and consistent support across markets, combining Deloitte technology, intellectual property, and talent to provide clients with continuous value. You’ll join a collaborative, cross-functional team of architects, delivery leads, and technology specialists dedicated to transforming enterprise operations and enabling client success. 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you 

You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences: 

• 15+ years combined experience in enterprise architecture, accounting/finance, finance transformation, or financial systems 

• Experience leading and selling large transformational projects at strategic accounts 

• Deep expertise in legacy and cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP), ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle), SaaS ecosystems (Salesforce, ServiceNow), and integration technologies 

• Knowledge of operating model design, governance, and sustainment planning 

• Experience influencing senior stakeholders, facilitating workshops, and shaping strategic solutions 

• Strong software engineering knowledge and experience with cloud, web, and data engineering 

• Highly motivated, self-directed, and energetic with excellent analytical and multitasking skills 

• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; adaptable across cultures, functions, and geographies 

• Willingness and ability to travel within the Asia Pacific region as required
