Modelling & Insights - Director
We have an opportunity for a Director in our Deloitte Modelling & Insights team in Sydney. We are looking for a curious and ambitious team mate to join us and help support our clients on transactions and capital investment decisions. We are a passionate and supportive team who work collaboratively across a diverse range of projects in an environment that fosters wellbeing and rewards success. What will your typical day look like?
- Support clients throughout the decision-making processes, using outstanding technical and commercial skills on strategic and transactional projects.
- To support your advice, you will be involved in the design, development and review of financial modelling and analytics solutions for a range of client sectors and industries.
- Lead business development initiatives and then execute the end-to-end delivery of engagements.
- Mentor and coach junior team members and lead projects independently within a supporting team environment.
- Connect and collaborate across Deloitte’s M&A practice and the Firm more broadly.
About the team
We advise clients on their most critical capital investment decisions and most of our work relates to transactions and capital investment, for both the private sector and public sector clients. Our advice is underpinned by financial models to support clients develop their investment thesis and undertake scenario analysis to make informed decisions based on robust analysis. As a specialist modelling team we also support clients with forecasting, scenario planning and developing business cases.

You may have all or some of the following skills / experience:
- A passion for advising clients make critical strategic and transaction decisions.
- Strong commercial and analytical skills with a drive to solve problems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- At least 10 years’ experience and ambition to grow your career to become a Partner at Deloitte.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and interest in mastering financial modelling.
- A curious mind, an ambitious perspective and a positive attitude.
