The successful candidate will lead a 12-month parental leave backfill as the Director for Deloitte’s Microsoft Technology Practice, working closely with the Lead Partner and leadership team to accelerate market impact for a high growth practice. The role is responsible for shaping and executing a strategic plan that encompasses all dimensions of Deloitte’s technology relationship with Microsoft. This includes internal strategy and planning, sector and client prioritisation, business development and sales, operating cadence, connections with Microsoft, enablement and certification pathways, supporting initiatives for both internal and external awareness and eminence of Deloitte’s Microsoft Technology Practice.

The role plays a central leadership position in advancing Deloitte’s Microsoft Technology Practice capabilities and impact, backed by strong governance, collaboration across offerings, operational excellence and a driver for sustained market and client impact.
What will your day-to-day look like?
- Strategy and Planning: contribute towards Firm-wide integrated market planning, playing a leading role in practice strategy and planning workshops across all Technology & Transformation Offering Portfolios, leading bold play growth opportunities across the Firm
- Client & Industry Activation: lead the activation of strategic sector and client priorities for the practice, focussed on supporting clients to accelerate value from their Microsoft technology investments
- Business Development & Sales: play a leadership role in generating and accelerating pipeline, support strategic cross-offering practice pursuits and marketing initiatives. Prioritise in-market activities and building trusted relationships with our clients
- Go-to-Market: provide an integrated view of Deloitte’s go‑to‑market value proposition for the practice, bringing to the forefront Deloitte’s differentiation. Plan and lead execution for all GTM activities, with a focus around AI
- Microsoft Technology Relationship: take responsibility for all dimensions of Deloitte’s technology relationship with Microsoft, including connections between Deloitte & Microsoft, ensuring compliance within the Independence guardrails of our audit relationship
- Education & Awareness: represent Deloitte’s Microsoft Technology Practice across the Firm and externally across Engineering AI & Data, Customer, Enterprise Technology & Performance, Human Capital, Cyber, AI & Operate. Drive and support capability uplift initiatives
- Operating Rhythm: oversee day-to-day operations, cadence, communications and reporting. Play a leading role in engaging with Deloitte Partners, Principles, MDs and Executives, including preparing for CEO top-to-top connections and collaboration across AP and Global

You’ll be part of Deloitte’s Microsoft Technology Practice, working in a collaborative, high-performing environment across Technology & Transformation. The team brings together leaders and specialists across AI & Data, Engineering, Customer, Enterprise Technology & Performance, Human Capital, Cyber and Operate to help clients accelerate value from their Microsoft investments. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across Deloitte and with Microsoft, supported by strong governance, operational discipline and a shared focus on market impact.

- Well-developed presentation skills and executive-level communications
- Experience leading matrix teams and cross-functional strategic initiatives
