The Deloitte Consulting Supply Chain & Procurement team provides a dynamic environment where you will work on challenging projects, across a range of ASX listed and private client organisations.

 

What will your typical day look like? 

  • Work with a high performing team of similarly minded colleagues with a strong commitment to excellence and helping our clients achieve value for money outcomes, drive profitability, and improve performance through their supply chain and network operation operating models and practices
  • Engage directly with high profile clients on their most important and challenging business issues - addressing and solving their priority strategic and operational problems
  • Support our clients on their digital network operation and supply chain journeys, providing guidance on appropriate solutions, supporting the implementation of these cutting edge digital and cloud solutions, and ensuring that they get the most out of their digital investments
  • Lead transformative projects and strategic initiatives in supply chain and procurement
  • Develop comprehensive frameworks for optimising supply chain operations
  • Identify critical cost levers and establish robust financial baselines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and execution
  • Provide guidance and support to team members
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management
  • Communicate project progress and results to stakeholders
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains
  • Draw on Deloitte’s unique capabilities in design thinking, Digital, Data Analytics, Deloitte Access Economics, and experience from our global consulting network

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.

You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences: 

5+ years of operations consulting experience in a Tier 1 Consulting firm, boutique operations firm or in industry having worked within supply chain functions

  • Proven experience working with or on consulting project teams, engaging with management at top ASX organisations or equivalent – in areas such as supply chain, procurement, enterprise cost reduction, operational improvement, transformation, and process excellence
  • Experience with digital supply chain and procurement technologies
  • Strong / Advanced quantitative, analytical, and data modelling skills
  • Experienced in driving business development activities
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to build strong relationships with a range of clients
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Curiosity to learn, proactivity to bring forward ideas, and diligence to contribute to the development of points-of-view on related supply chain and network operation topics
  • Strong sense of team and passion to develop others as well as self
