We are looking for a sharp, curious, and impact-driven Manager to join our Strategy & Transformation practice, working specifically in the Public Sector Advisory space. We partner with clients in government and non-for-profit sector to solve complex challenges and unlock sustainable value, whether it’s defining bold strategic direction, delivering major transformations, or responding to emerging policy and market shifts.

We are looking for a highly motivated Manager who is passionate about improving government outcomes and helping public-sector organisations achieve lasting positive impact.

 

We work alongside senior leaders across government and industry to address high-stakes strategic and operational challenges. Using evidence-based approaches, we support decision-making, deliver transformative initiatives, and unlock sustainable value for citizens and stakeholders in a rapidly evolving public-sector landscape.

 

What will your typical day look like?

 

As a Manager, you’ll take ownership of client delivery, leading teams to design and deliver impactful solutions while shaping trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. You’ll play a key role in business development, thought leadership, and the growth of our people.

 

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

 

  • Leading end-to-end delivery of projects from framing client problems to shaping actionable recommendations, enabling implementation impact and managing project risks and financials along the way
  • Managing multi-disciplinary teams, providing direction, coaching, and oversight to enable high performance and professional growth
  • Owning client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor, and building rapport and credibility with senior stakeholders
  • Designing and facilitating executive discussions, helping clients align on their goals and make confident, strategically-informed decisions
  • Driving business development through proposal development, client relationship management, and evolving our service offerings that help our clients solve their most critical issues

Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of the team, with responsibilities including:

  • Driving market eminence through support of strategy and transformation thought leadership.
  • Building your network of connections across our national and global ecosystem.
  • Leading and supporting the growth and development of junior team members on projects and in the Practice.

As a Manager in the team, you are a strategic thinker and inclusive leader who thrives on solving complex challenges and enjoys working collaboratively to make progress.

 

You will:

 

  • Have at least 5 years of experience in Consulting or Professional Services, with demonstrated delivery in the public sector / government advisory space
  • Be highly skilled in developing strategies and operating models that address complex challenges, with a track record of delivering outcomes for senior stakeholders
  • Have strong business acumen and exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and exercise mature judgement
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills, balancing competing priorities while ensuring quality outcomes

 

Highly desirable, but not mandatory:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Law, Science, Engineering, Economics or related disciplines
  • Advanced post-grad preferred (i.e. MBA)
  • Prior work or advisory experience in Government
