About the team

Our Risk Culture and broader Controls Assurance team consists of diverse perspectives and varied backgrounds – including risk, organisational psychology, change and controls transformation. We draw on this experience to help our clients embed an effective risk culture, aligned to a company’s strategic objectives and risk appetite.


What will your typical day look like?

Preferably based in Melbourne, we are currently seeking a Manager to help deliver our services within our Risk Culture practice. You will bring your skills, such as organisational psychology, behaviour change, culture, problem solving, risk and change management, to help organisations manage risk and controls intelligently. Our team focuses on the people elements of risk and controls transformation. We are a purposeful team working to create an impact that matters with each project different from the last.

 

As a Manager in the team, you will:

 

  • Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our team: Coach and mentor team members, uplift their capability and contribute to their career growth.
  • Be a trusted advisor: Guide clients on defining, measuring and changing their risk and controls culture.
  • Lead from the front: Plan, manage and deliver advisory engagements that empower organisations to understand and strengthen their risk culture and overall risk and controls environments.
  • Influence decision-makers: Present impactful insights and recommendations to senior management and executive stakeholders.
  • Own your projects: Take charge of project management, ensuring quality, exceptional client service, and financial success.
  • Contribute to our growth: Actively participate in business development efforts, supporting the pursuit of new opportunities and expanding our client base across Australia and internationally.
  • Collaboration: Work closely and effectively with people within our team of risk consultants and internal audit professionals, and across the broader firm to deliver impactful and value adding projects.

 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.

You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:

 

  • 5+ years’ experience with a track record of successfully managing teams and projects.
  • Experience in problem solving and delivering high quality advisory projects, such as risk consulting, risk culture measurement and change.
  • The ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality reports, proposals, and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the sales process.
  • Tertiary-level qualification in a relevant discipline (i.e. organisational psychology, risk management or related field).
