Manager- Resource Management(Syd/Mel/Brisbane)

Ideal national role for a senior audit resource manager, workforce planning professional or auditor looking for a career change. Your role primarily focusses on business and resourcing analytics across engagement data metrics, including statistical analysis and reporting to help investigate and analyse business performance, insights, and provide recommendations to support workforce planning strategies.

The role encompasses a balance of analytical capabilities, solid stakeholder engagement and metrics enabling evidence based workforce development strategies. A high level of excel proficiency and data analytics experience is preferred.


What will your typical day look like?
Based in either Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane, you will strategically work with the team to forecast continual audit cycle planning, demand, supply across the engagement life cycle, while focusing on engagement compositions, metrics and portfolio planning.

You will be involved in planning for future client engagements, developing strong relationships with our Partners and Directors to understand their respective needs. You will be involved in strategic resourcing analysis by optimising engagement team compositions and utilisation to align the needs and priorities of our business, individuals and clients to ensure engagements can meet their regulatory, production requirements and organisational objectives.

Resource Management looks after identifying, negotiating, allocating and managing the resources, such as individuals and their skills, finances, required for a project. This team ensures that internal resources are used effectively on time and to budget and advises business about best resourcing practices and works with high level of excel proficiency.

You will be responsible for developing strong relationships, ensuring collaboration, teamwork and optimal communications, in order to deliver outstanding results and are someone with a genuine interest in both the human and business side of resource management.
You will additionally have the following:

  • Demonstrable experience in stakeholder management at the executive level
  • 5+ years’ experience in either; resource management or workforce planning (audit resourcing knowledge preferred), audit practitioner looking for a change in career, or accounting, financial professional with a flare and passion for reporting analytics 
  • The ability to provide and interpret analysis of metrics and financial information such as utilisation, revenue, and gross margin
  • An analytical and inquisitive mind, with the ability to identify and spot trends and behaviours
  • A high level of attention to detail, with a proactive approach to your work.
  • A strong ability to plan, organise, direct, supervise and control project/assignment resources, in order to efficiently and methodically meet objectives and satisfy needs
  • The ability to work in a National role with a remote team
  • Strong project management and organisation skills
  • Can work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment while managing conflicting priorities
