Join Deloitte’s growing M&A Analytics team, part of the broader Strategy, Risk & Transactions (SR&T) group, where you'll work on high-profile M&A assignments alongside leading professionals. What will your typical day look like?
As part of the M&A Analytics team, you’ll provide critical deal transaction support, investigating target companies to uncover key value drivers, risks and other vital factors. You’ll help clients make informed decisions by delivering data-driven insights that shape their approach to potential deals.
Core services include:
• Acquisition and vendor due diligence
• Bid defence and support
• Reporting accountant services for capital market transactions
You will collaborate closely with other teams across Deloitte, drawing on expertise in areas like commercial and operational due diligence, financial modelling, merger integration, sale and purchase agreement negotiations and business intelligence.

In this role, you’ll provide analytical financial due diligence and M&A transaction support, bridging data analytics with financial analysis. You’ll play a key role in delivering insights that drive better decision-making, helping our clients achieve their M&A objectives through innovative, scalable solutions.
We seek ambitious analytics professionals with a passion for using data to deliver valuable insights and solve problems creatively. You’ll design and develop adaptable analytic solutions that integrate people, processes and technology. We expect you to have the following attributes and abilities to be successful in this role:
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field with strong academic credentials
• Over five years of experience in finance or analytics roles, with a solid understanding of financial value drivers
Technical Expertise:
• Familiarity with tools and languages such as Excel, SQL, R, Alteryx, Python, Tableau, QlikView, GitHub, VBA
• Advanced knowledge of the drivers of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flows and ability to demonstrate this through complex financial analysis and commercial insights
Leadership & Communication:
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
• Experience leading diverse teams and fostering an inclusive culture
• Proven ability to manage and deliver analytics projects, with a focus on quality and efficiency
• Ability to bridge the gap between business and technology, collaborating effectively with stakeholders

• Ability to understand and articulate the commercial implications of analytics in financial reporting and decision-making
