We are looking for a highly motivated Manager – Strategy, Innovation & Transformation, who is passionate about the energy transition and helping the Energy & Resources industry to navigate and maximise their potential in the transition.

The Energy & Resources Strategy, Innovation & Transformation team is part of the Strategy & Business Design Portfolio business within Deloitte. We leverage our rich experience and global footprint to help clients navigate the future with confidence.
We partner with the Senior Executives, CEOs and Boards of leading Energy & Resources corporations to tackle their most complex challenges. What will your typical day look like?
You will be part of our Strategy, Innovation & Transformation team, bringing your passion and drive to help our clients develop and execute strategies, drive innovation and position them for success in the uncertain market environment and the energy transition.
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- Leading end-to-end delivery of projects from framing client problems to shaping actionable recommendations, enabling implementation impact and managing project risks and financials along the way
- Managing multi-disciplinary teams, providing direction, coaching, and oversight to enable high performance and professional growth
- Owning client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor, and building rapport and credibility with senior stakeholders
- Designing and facilitating executive discussions, helping clients align on their goals and make confident, strategically-informed decisions
- Driving business development through proposal development, client relationship management, and evolving our service offerings that help our clients solve their most critical issues
Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of the team, with responsibilities including:
- Driving market eminence through support of strategy, innovation and transformation thought leadership.
- Building your network of connections across our global Energy and Resources Strategy, Innovation & Transformation ecosystem.
- Leading and supporting the growth and development of junior team members on projects and in the Practice.

As a Manager in the team, you are a strategic thinker and inclusive leader who thrives on solving complex challenges and who enjoys working collaboratively to solve our client’s issues.
You will:
- Have at least 5 years of experience in strategy and innovation consulting, business transformation design and delivery, with a strong proportion of that in
- Consulting / Professional Services in a top-tier Firm
- The Energy & Resources industry, particularly Mining & Metals and/ or Power, Utilities & Renewables
- Be highly skilled in developing strategies and operating models that address complex challenges, with a track record of delivering outcomes for senior stakeholders
- Have strong business and commercial acumen, and exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement
- Ability to structure ambiguity, communicate ideas, strategies and recommendations into clear recommendations
- Demonstrated capabilities in leadership, mentoring and management of small teams, promoting effective and efficient work environments for team members to thrive.
- Demonstrate strong project management skills, balancing competing priorities while ensuring quality outcomes
Highly Desirable:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Law, Science, Engineering, Economics or related disciplines
- Advanced post-grad preferred (i.e. MBA)
