What Will Your Typical Day Look Like?
As a Manager in the SOC Advise and Implement team, you’ll take on a key delivery and team leadership role, working closely with clients to drive meaningful engagements while supporting the development of your team.
Your day might include:
- Leading the delivery of SOC advisory and implementation projects, ensuring client needs are met with high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders to understand challenges and provide actionable recommendations for SOC strategies.
- Supporting the development and implementation of tailored SOC solutions aligned with client goals.
- Managing small teams of cybersecurity professionals, mentoring junior staff, and fostering collaboration within the team.
- Staying informed about emerging trends in cyber defence to provide clients with innovative, forward-thinking solutions.
- Assisting in the development of proposals and participating in client presentations to support business growth initiatives.

Due to the client requirements of employing Security Cleared professionals, Australian citizens are preferred for this role.
You are a skilled cybersecurity professional with a strong foundation in SOC advisory and implementation, looking to take on a role that balances technical expertise with client delivery and team leadership. You will have:
Team Leadership and Development:
- Experience managing small to medium-sized teams and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
- A passion for mentoring and guiding junior team members to support their professional growth.
Cyber Defence Expertise:
- A solid understanding of cyber defence capabilities, including threat intelligence, incident detection & response, and security operations.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, AESCSF and ISO 27001.
- Awareness of emerging trends and technologies in cybersecurity.
Client Engagement:
- Experience managing end-to-end client engagements, including understanding client needs and translating them into effective solutions.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional client outcomes.
Operational Knowledge:
- A proven ability to deliver SOC-related projects, including strategy development, implementation, and optimisation.
- Experience working across multiple industries and adapting solutions to meet varying organisational needs.
Key Position Tasks
