Description:

Job Requisition ID: 40513

  • Lead large internal audit, risk and control transformation work for some of Sydney's most recognisable organisations.

  • Build relationships with in-person connection across our teams and clients, with flexibility to balance work and life

  • Mentoring, coaching and leadership programs to help you make an impact that matters

This is a Sydney-based opportunity to join Deloitte's Control Assurance team and play a leading role in helping major organisations strengthen how they manage risk, governance and control.

What will your typical day look like?

You'll help lead internal audit, risk and control transformation engagements from planning through to delivery, bringing structured problem solving, sound judgement and a sharp focus on quality. The work can span governance and risk frameworks, operating model design, assurance automation, and emerging focus areas such as Agile IA, integrated assurance and risk culture.

Just as importantly, your work will help clients protect their brand, strengthen decision-making and build confidence in the systems and processes that matter most. You'll contribute to outcomes that support boards, executives and risk leaders across large and complex organisations.

Working closely with clients, senior stakeholders and Deloitte teams across the firm, you'll build trusted relationships and help shape the way work gets delivered. There is plenty of variety in the role - from facilitating workshops and developing proposals to coaching junior team members and contributing to the growth of the practice.
