Japanese Speaking Undergraduate - Global Mobility Tax (NSW)

What will your typical day look like? 
We are currently looking to bring on board a Japanese speaking Undergraduate to join our Global Employer Services practice.  We are open to full time and part time applicants - the part time role would suit a university student who is available to work part time (3 or more days per week).  As a Japanese speaking undergrad in the global mobility tax team, the role will be varied, and responsibilities will include: 

  • Monitoring client mailboxes, drafting email responses to client queries and requesting tax data from clients
  • Liaising with Deloitte overseas offices with respect to mutual clients 
  • Monitoring client KPIs and providing status reports to clients
  • Preparing invoices for clients
  • Preparation of personal tax returns and payroll calculations
  • Updating tax software and online portal with client information

Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office to request:

  • Remission of general interest charges for individual clients
  • Variation of PAYG instalment income

  • Studying a degree in any discipline
