You will join a collaborative team of infrastructure specialists working across the infrastructure lifecycle on projects that address Australia’s most critical challenges, now and into the future. This is an opportunity to deepen your expertise, contribute to evidence-based solutions, and see the real impact of your work in practice.

If you have a few years’ experience and bring strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, we’d love to hear from you.

What will your typical day look like?

Our national Infrastructure & Industrials practice brings together 500+ professionals to shape Australia’s future. We partner with public, private, and investment clients to deliver complex infrastructure, real estate, and industrial projects. From investment strategy and business cases to project delivery, asset management, and industrial technology, we tackle challenges that strengthen the economy, boost productivity, and create smarter, more sustainable outcomes.

As part of our growing business, an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Consultant or Manager to join our Strategy and Commercials team in Sydney.

You might find yourself:

  • Shaping major infrastructure and industrial projects by developing investment business cases, guiding strategic prioritisation, planning and policy, and conducting feasibility studies across energy, education, transport, defense, health, industrial and other sectors.

  • Providing strategic and economic advice to help clients make evidence-based decisions, using tools like bespoke economic modelling, cost-benefit analysis, and social, economic, and environmental impact assessments.

  • Driving commercial and financial solutions through contract structuring, procurement strategies, performance frameworks, funding advice, and financial modelling to support complex infrastructure planning and delivery.

  • Collaborating across multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, lawyers, and multiple government and private sector stakeholders to run major tenders, negotiate agreements, and ensure high-value outcomes for communities and clients.

  • Exploring innovative and technology-enabled approaches including the use of emerging technologies, AI, and advanced analytics to inform strategies, enhance performance, and identify opportunities for growth and transformation across the infrastructure lifecycle.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.

You will have:

  • An interest in shaping Australia’s infrastructure and industrial projects, with a desire to provide evidence-based advice and contribute to high-impact decisions.

  • Good quantitative skills and some experience in financial, economic, or data analytics, with an eagerness to apply these to complex projects and learn on the job.

  • Communication and client-facing skills, including the ability to write clearly and adapt your style for different audiences and purposes.

  • Teamwork and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, manage / train others, and learn from colleagues.

  • A relevant tertiary qualification, such as Economics, Finance, Accounting, Tax, Public Policy, Commerce, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.

You may also have the following, although these are not essential:

  • Between three- and six-years’ experience providing project support or advisory work.

  • Experience or exposure to public sector work, including infrastructure projects, procurement or delivery of services, financial or economic analysis, and strategic advice.

  • Experience or exposure to industrial, logistics, property, real estate, transport, or energy projects, including financial or economic analysis, project support, and related advisory.

  • Interest or experience in specific focus areas, such as education, energy transition, transport, defense, real estate, or related infrastructure sectors.
